The design of the Creative Underground Studio already had your respiratory health factored in, with fresh, filtered air being pulled in, and stale air dumped out every hour. With the outbreak of Covid 19 in 2020, we took additional steps to maximize your health and safety, including:

• Upgrading the air filtration system to electrostatic MERV 13, which is capable of removing microscopic particles such as viruses and bacteria.
• Adding UV air sanitization to the air return system to sterilize the air and remove air born viruses.
• Ozium air-sanitization spray of each room between sessions – proven to remove airborn bacteria and germs.
• UV sanitization of microphones and other sensitive equipment
• Regular cleaning and sanitization of frequently touched surfaces.

These steps are especially important in a recording studio when you consider that soundproof rooms are essentially air-tight containers, and if not properly designed they can be a breeding ground for mold, bacteria and viruses. When you then factor in the aerosolized spreading mechanism of Covid 19 and other viruses, it becomes immediately apparent why you should carefully scrutinize where you choose to go for your next production.
